As part of our Sponsorship of
the San Carlos Farmer's Market
"Hot Harvest Nights",
and our ongoing efforts to increase arts and science education, we are
sponsoring the popsicle stick construction contest. All children are
welcome to come by our booth on alternating thursdays from May 10 -
August 2 to try their hands and building a bridge, house, airplane,
or just a really cool sculpture...the only requirements are:
- Materials
are limited to popsicle sticks and glue (either white glue or wood
glue only)
- Constructions
can be worked on at the market or at home, but will not be kept by
CONima
- Bring
back your project on August 16th for judging
- Be
creative
Prizes
will be awarded in four categories; under 6, ages 6-10, 11&up (artistic),
11&up (technical).
